This course is designed to give information security professionals a practical understanding of how to use NetworkMiner, an open source network analysis tool, to capture and analyze network packets in real time. Through the reconstruction of files and network conversations, NetworkMiner enables students to gain a deep understanding of network activity and detect potential threats to network security.
Requisitos
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and related technologies.
- Previous experience in network monitoring and analysis.
- Verifiable technical skills in the use of network analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of communication protocols used in networks.
Additionally, it is recommended that students have knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, and network security protocols. It would also be helpful to have a basic understanding of the different types of network attacks and information security in general.
